The Prince of Tides (1991)

A story about the memories that haunt us, and the truth that sets us free...

Leontine Cinema returns to the ESQUIRE on Wednesday, March 5th with their look at some of the best women-directed cult films of the past, hosted by Garin Pirnia and Ann Driscoll.

Join us for their March pick: THE PRINCE OF TIDES (1991) directed by Barbra Streisand.

Synopsis: A New York psychiatrist (Barbra Streisand) treating an emotionally scarred woman finds it helpful to discuss her South Carolina family's troubled history with the woman's twin brother (Nick Nolte). He and the psychiatrist find themselves drawn together by their equally turbulent pasts, and they form an alliance which ultimately leads to romance.
