Synopsis: Struggling artist Sonny Malone (Michael Beck) becomes obsessed with mysterious roller-skater Kira (Olivia Newton-John) when they bump into each other on the boardwalk. After spotting her again near a derelict auditorium, Sonny befriends former big band leader turned construction mogul Danny McGuire (Gene Kelly). It’s not long before Kira has convinced the pair to open a roller-skating disco and she and Sonny have fallen hopelessly in love. But an otherworldly secret might throw a spanner in the works that even Electric Light Orchestra can't resolve.
